Shipped to my PO Box in Vancouver, BC within 2 weeks. No extra shipping charges by the courier. Great product that was easily installed. The security covers needed a little push to get the lock to turn. Would definitely recommend to anyone with an X-Trail. Thanks to CarRacks!
Really happy with the product , delivered to new zealand withing 4 working days, very easy to install, will gladly shop again and i've already recomended you to someone else over here, great service thanks :)
This arrived so quickly and was pretty straight forward to install. Very impressed with the product and service from Mick's garage. Thanks!
We live in Canada and have a 2005 Nissan Xtrail. Here, Nissan no longer sells the original roof racks for these cars, so we had to find an aftermarket alternative. Mick's Garage offered this Italian-made rack system for a very low price, and they were super-efficient in taking our order and mailing the product. It took about seven days for the strong, well-wrapped parcel to arrive.
The rack system took a bit of time to assemble, but the diagrams were reasonably clear. Everything fit together well and the rack was easy to install on the Xtrail. It's worth noting that each post of the rack is attached to the Xtrail's roof by only one small screw. That shouldn't be too much of a issue...my BMW's roof rack attaches with only one screw at each post, and I've never had a problem carrying fairly heavy loads on it.
The cross bars are stoutly constructed and have a rectangular profile that provides an adequate load-bearing surface. Black plastic covers lock onto the supporting posts to provide some degree of anti-theft security.
The posts do not completely fill the void that appears when the side rail covers are removed from the fixed mounting points on the Xtrail. This could be problematic if the rack is in place for a long time, as rain or snow could corrode the exposed metal in the mounting points. It also looks a bit odd. But if you're willing to attach and detach the rack system each time you use it, corrosion won't be an issue. It takes about fifteen minutes to attach the system, and ten minutes to remove it.
The crossbars are not very wide, perhaps for safety reasons, but you could clamp wider bars to them if necessary.
All in all, the roof rack system is good value, and can make all the difference when you need to haul something that won't fit inside the vehicle. And Mick's Garage offers very good service.
Bars were a very good price compared to other sites. Arrived withn 2 weeks!! Anyone who deals with aliexpress will be pleasantly surprised with the speed and quality of Micks!!!
6 stars!!!
