These bars attach to the rain gutters on the sides of your roof, if you do NOT have those then these bars are not correct for your vehicle, a lot of older vehicles such as vans came with these rain gutters, they are very versatile in that you can mount the bars at any point along the rain gutters

Nordrive Kargo roof bars use the same fixing points the vehicle manufacturer have designed. They are very easy to fit! Vans generally have either a clamp on point, screw in type or a rain gutter running along the roofs edge. Nordrive have cleverly designed their kits to work exactly for each vehicle type. It's a matter of fitting the foot pack to the bars and loading them on the roof of your van. Very simple!

These roof bars come with a fitting kit that is extendable from 16cm to 21cm and are intended for use on standard low-roof height vans with rain gutter. The kit slots into the rain gutter along the side just below the roof and raises the bars a few inches above the roof so make sure to allow for this when measuring.
