I'm fairly happy with the rack, the roof bars are very solid and look great, but the foot pack is a little flimsy for the money, especially the lock portion of the pack. I found it a bit tricky to get the lock on properly and they look like they could be damaged if not handled carefully. Also , unless I am doing things incorrectly, you have to remove the outer section of wind deflector anytime you want to take off the locks in order to remove the bars. This is not a huge issue for me because I don't plan removing the bars anytime soon, but its still a bit of a design flaw. Lastly, I was a little disappointed that I had to cut sections out of the wind deflector , which the instructions say you have to do in order to mount bars on foot pads. To do this you have to peal back a portion of the wind reflector in order to cut a section out of it, but I found that it was next to impossible to get the wind reflector to sit back as snugly into the frontrail grove again; would be better to have a system that either had the cuts made during manufacture, or even better were designed in such a way that didn't require cutting. Took around 50min to fit, not too noisy even on motorway at 120Km/h, and once fitted the bars look solid . Haven't carried anything on them yet so can't comment one way or the other on that.

First of all, the ordering was simple, direct and efficient...no hassle whatsoever and much appreciated. Was initially quoted in excess of €300 by a Citroen dealer for a two rail system. So obviously the purchase was well short of the quotation plus I ended up with a third rail and now have a total carrying capacity of 150kg. The fitting took approx. 90mins, however if I read and followed the instructions correctly (not that they are difficult to follow) rather than rushing through (D'oh) I could have narrowed it down to approx. 45 mins - highly recommended and exceptional great value
